Brittany was a Fine Art Sculpture major studying art and business at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
After returning to her hometown in southern California, Brittany started to get involved in the pop up art scene in Los Angeles. Inspired by the opportunity these art shows gave emerging artists; Brittany took a leap of faith and opened her own pop up gallery company.
Brittany established her pop up art shows "Beyond The Lines" in 2014 representing hundreds of artists. In 2016 she acquired a gallery space and established her first classical gallery "Beyond The Lines Gallery" at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA. Working with emerging, mid career and established artists.
In January 2018, because of property sales at Bergamot Station her gallery space had to close. Not skipping a beat she put together and curated a series of large scale pop up art exhibits in Downtown Los Angeles. Now she is hosting a variety of group exhibits, solo shows and furniture and art events in different locations in LA. Still on the search for an amazing new spot to be a long term gallery space that will thrive and as always have a wide variety of art to share with art lovers.
"I have worked with hundreds of artists from all avenues of their careers. With this I have experienced the good, bad and everything in between. What I teach in my one on one sessions and group workshops is the business side of art that many artists do not fully think through. Being in between the artists and collectors I have been able to see how to help artists be the best they can be and present themselves and their work in a more solid way.
In my class, you will be pressed with questions about your work and artistic story, have your content critiqued and build an action plan to get your career going in the direction you want. Whether that is being part of more exhibits, selling work on your own, selling your work with galleries, growing your following and so on.
I Look forward to connecting and helping artist improve and grow. All my students leave motivated, more focused and confident in their next steps. Let's see the difference we can work on in you."
