I enjoy the absurd, with a bit of cultural and political commentary thrown in. My work explores the varying relationships that people have with each other and themselves. Having dealt in subjects as diverse as body issues and the horrors of war, I always want the viewer to be able to engage with my work on a personal level. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project, my goal is always the same - to pour my own raw emotions into my art. It makes me happiest when people of different ages and backgrounds can relate to the same piece of artwork...that's how I know I've made a connection, and it makes me feel that my work is a success.
