Lizi Ruch, an accomplished artist and fashion designer, launched Artfully Equestrian in 2003. With a B.A. from Transylvania University, an M.A. in ceramic sculpture from the University of Louisville and a B.F.A. in fashion design from Parsons School of Design, Lizi has her own design/development companies; Lizi Ruch, Liziart and Artfully Equestrian. Her knitwear business has sold to Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and numerous resorts, specialty stores and under private label brands. She also paints and sculpts; specializing in animal, hunt theme, and horse images. Lizi’s artwork is represented in many private collections and has been published in a child’s book “A Horse Named Duke”. Two of her hunt theme paintings are published in “A Centennial View” the Commemorative Centennial Book celebrating riding to “the horn and hounds” across America which was published by the MFHA.
